My concern is the potential effects of magnets that powerful on equipment that is just inches away.

Relaxa? Sounds like a drug being marketed to seniors to loosen up a tight sphincter.

Scott, If you don’t buy it, there’s nothing to be concerned about! Seriously, that ones a trip into audio foolery. Bill

Just saw it pop up in my feed and wondered what the implications are of magnets with that strength.

Anything that light could also be victimized by atmospheric vibrations. No getting away from it that I can see though it’s a creative thought. Bill

However, I try never to be hasty in dismissing tech advances I may think I understand when I may not.
Not that long ago a lot of influential audiophiles were convinced you couldn't get any in room response below 30 Hz.
How about some of the incredible tech that has gone into DSPs, faster chips capable of processing mind boggling algorithms, CAD programs that can optimize speaker cabinet design etc?

Absolutely! My original AR turntable, purchased all the way back in 1969, addressed the issue of isolation from the affects of vibration, with a unique suspension system that isolated the arm and platter from the base. One of the promotional ads for that turntable depicted direct blows to the base with a hammer while a record was playing with no skipping or otherwise. Bill

Only a magnetic spring? Looks like they forgot to include a damper...without it, the system will bounce forever!
