What’s your opinion of VTI products? Are they worth the premium? Who as the best pricing? Anybody have regular discounts on their stands and shelving?
Adding the RMC-1 and additional amp has run me out of room so I need to reorganize! I’d like to do it in style but don’t want to mortgage the house. No, no diy for my. My health isn’t up to all that. Any suggestions would be welcomed. Another manufacturer perhaps?

I have the 4 shelf unit. All my equipment on it and its a lot of weight. I put super sliders under the feet and its a snap to move around when I have to get behind it. Only thing is you have to be careful not to grab the upper units as they will come right off there cones. (spikes) Other than that I love it.

I had a VTI amp stand and it was built like an Emo ERC remote - i.e., like a tank. Build quality was great and it could support a lot of weight. Their factory isn't that far from me but they don't sell to the public, only to dealers so it is hard to find any discounts. But if you want something solid, they do the job.

Actually last time I checked which was several years ago, their factory was in El Monte, CA. Because like you said, their prices are relatively high, I called and asked if they sold direct to the public but they didn't, at least at that time. Also, I can't say for sure if the products are made in the U.S. or their location is a warehouse; I believe it is an Asian-owned business. So maybe I shouldn't really say "factory" and instead say main location. By the way, here is where I bought mine: www.standsandmounts.com/index.aspx

That’s who I’ve been communicating with, Erwin. I need three 13” tables and two 9” and he’s willing to work with me. It’ll be a beautiful setup but a little pricey!

Good quality is good quality. I'd pay more for a high quality, well built product from China than a poorly made product made in USA.

VTI has made a well constructed good looking product. I’m so very glad I made the purchase. Each glass shelf is rated to 220 lbs, plenty strong for my 100 lbs XPR-1’s. They look absolutely stunning. Easy install and the black glass is classic. Swiffer once a week for the dust seems to be the only downside. I can live with that. Thanks for the advice Gentlemen! The black and silver with smoked glass matches perfectly with my existing double wide shelf. Mission accomplished!
