Ok, so I cheated. I don't have any nice headphones, and I don't have them hooked up to my "good" system.

So for the sites set up, I told their system that I was listening with a pair of Beats by Dr. Dre studio 2.0.

The three speakers I compared were diverse.

Wharfedale Reva 4

MartinLogan Motion® 60XT

PSB Imagine T2 Tower

Yes I could hear a difference.

The Reva 4 was very clean but missing bass compared to the other two.

The treble on the 60XT was a bit stronger compared to the relatively laid back Imagine T2s.

Is that how they really sound? You'll have to tell me.
