I have a UMC-1 that no longer outputs HDMI video. The audio works as expected.
So, if you require a preamp without video, then this unit will work. Setup can be completed on the front LED screen.
Cosmetically it's 80% with a couple of minor bumps and nicks on the top and back. The front is in excellent condition and has black trim.
Includes the original UMC-1, heavy, anodized aluminum remote.
$100 CAD plus shipping. Local pickup in Calgary available. EMT or cash.

I was wondering if i took one like yours and swapped out the audio section and put it in mine would that work? Interesting ,,wonder if anyone here has done this yet? |

It's too bad they can't repair em'. Makes me worry about the day mine quits. There is nothing I've owned or heard at double, to triple + and I have a $2700 unit with top notch ARC just setting on a shelf because the UMC 1 whoops it for music easily........

HDMI went out on my umc-1 quite awhile ago. Still have component connections working. Gets me by in the bedroom. I forgot about the trade in program.

wow ! really? better than the entry USP-1 ? I am using a Parasound P3 right now but not wowed by it . and in extremely low budget mode.lol..
