Please, give me your honest opinions on the stand... Would you buy one if it were for sale and you could have some input in the build for your gear... Cable management and power strips. Solid Birch, zero resonance, very heavy. View AttachmentView AttachmentView AttachmentI think it’s cool as all get out, but I could not put it in my house. It just would not fit in with the rest of the decor in the house. If it fits in with what you are looking far stick with it man. It seems the fit your equipment perfectly.

Too steam-punk for my taste, but I like the idea.

Personally I think it is ugly but my opinion doesn't matter. If you like it and it is built well, then go for it!

That is definitely a concept that can be custom made to fit any room with any combination of gear, very creative!

I agree, I had to beef up my existing audio cabinet with shelf braces to support the Emotiva equipment, even load tested it for three weeks!

I like it. Nicer and more industrial looking than the wood slab with cinder blocks I have used.

I'm assuming you made this shelf/stand unit, I think it is very nice, love the integration of the bookshelf stands, are you looking to custom make them for people interested to buy ?

I like the industrial look a lot, could fit well into a warehouse apartment, but i agree with the mains being a little to high.

I’d be a little concerned about the turntable & subwoofer proximity, but I do like the look. Rather than the mains being too high I’d say the center is too low, or that the TV is too small, I like the main height.

Chad I have been asked, I am an owner operator, trucker, so home time is important, but if there is a want I would not mind building a few of these. Honestly tired of trucking, 30 years it is getting long in the tooth... And thank you for the compliment!

I’d be a little concerned about the turntable & subwoofer proximity, but I do like the look. Rather than the mains being too high I’d say the center is too low, or that the TV is too small, I like the main height. I thought the same too, but the stand is so heavy it has not been an issue. The subs being elevated too have taken much of the floor and walls out of the picture. Totally different sound coming out of the subs being off the floor. More enveloping than say rumbling up through your feet. The reason I also went with sealed subs, as I mainly listen to music and found the ported subs I previously had just did not have what I wanted. Really enjoying the new subs, they are staying. That's the beauty of this stand, it is adjustable, I can lift the top slab or lower it. The speakers stands are the same. In regards to the speaker height, I measured and set them at that particular height as most of our listening is sitting at the dining room table, which is not pictured. Perfect height to make it over the furniture, and being able to swivel the speakers towards your sitting area. And yes on the TV, I want a bigger one... Thanks for the input.
