Cheap suggestions for elevating TV

We are moving soon, so I don’t want to wall mount our TV.

I’m getting a center soon and I need two even items to place under the feet of the TV one on each side to bring it up roughly 8-9 inches so I can fit a center under it. This is just a temp solution, so stable and cheap is best.

However, if I can find something that is somewhat more attractive than lumber, that would be great. Any suggestions?
