Has anyone had the pleasure of listening / owning both speakers? I'm wondering if the newer T2's would be an improvement over the much older 8.3's. Getting ready to relocate soon and these things are big & heavy....the price on the T2's has me wondering...…I hate when I do that  |

The T2 has better and deeper bass and also a clearer, cleaner top end. Both midranges are very good IMO. I'm very happy with the move and would do it again even at the old price. |

I paid 800 bucks.....might have been a tad bit high, but it came as part of a package deal.....got an XPA-2 gen 1 for 300 bucks if I bought the 8.3's....so I jumped...Lol |
