I have searched the forum here and google looking for the revisions made to UMC-1. I just purchased a GEN Two, which I was unaware existed. I know there were 3 generations of the XMC-1. Does anyone have an idea what changes were made to the GEN TWO version. Picture attached.

There was no UMC-1 “Gen 2”. The UMC-1 was entirely replaced by the UMC-200.

Please look at the picture. The manual clearly shows "GEN TWO". Was this a misprint?

Please look at the picture. The manual clearly shows "GEN TWO". Was this a misprint? No... the UMC-1 was considered to be a “second generation” processor following the DMC-1. Emotiva’s naming can become very confusing.

Perfect. Thanks for the answer! That is all I needed to know. No problem. Just to add some more confusion, there’s only one XMC-1, but has “Gen 2” printed on the front panel. In this case, “Gen2” refers to its aesthetics, not the hierarchy. There’s also 3 versions of the upgradable HDMI board. But in the end, there’s still only one XMC-1...
