I say go for it, I used to work in a finishing shop for some time, it's been a while but I have thought about re-finishing some speakers I just have been on the lazy side plus mine sit behind a screen haha.

What about doing a wrap the same as they do cars, would this be able to be done?

Ok then, Well if it's wrapped in vinyl, EMO should be able to do it in any colour (even patterns) you order, how hard can it be?

Prob a manufacturing cost thing, if they had them made in China and shipped to the US unfinished and then had a customizable speaker done in the US would be awesome but as always costs are gonna sky rocket, I have three T1 and yes black is getting boring for me but mine are behind my screen anyhow, well not yet as I still have the chanes in operation, I am going to be building some outriggers for the T1's

I have some 3D carbon fiber here to try but don't have any book shelf speakers to try with. Not saying Emo has to have 20 different colours maybe just 3 or 4, it's quite easy to do wrapping, with curves or corners you can use a hair dryer to heat the wrap and it makes it easy to use on curves Just a thought.
