Obviously a speculation thread, but what do we know? Any timing or information on this line?
Maybe some folks from Emotiva could chime in with some thoughts?

I’m hoping someone will chime in with general ideas etc. Now that I have the Airmotiv6s in the system I’m ready to upgrade these suckers. Figured with the line being discontinued and now that the passives are on clearance, surely they are making room for something..

Not all the passives are on clearance. The T2's and C2 are, but we know there's a T2+ coming. I would not imagine that to take long. Hopefully, they are doing a C2+ also. Several of the others have a "new low price" or are sold out right now.

Either the T1s and the T2s are a huge hit awnd they just want to capitalize on it by introducing a more waf friendly model. In which case it's going to happen soon. Or...they aren't and they just want to see how a new model may do. The latter seems more likely to me, so I don't think they will be in a big hurry with them. Either way the T2 close out price is INSANE.

To me personally the Airmotiv active powered speakers are arguably as big of a home run as their power amps. Obviously those sales don’t align, but they remain to this day the best price/performance product I’ve come across in this industry. Simply, they sound fantastic.
I can understand Emotiva not chomping at the bit to release a new version if sales didn’t align properly, but for the fanatics who love these speakers it would be sad to not see a new launch

Their active speakers are FANTASTIC. If I hadn't already gone the separates route, I can totally see myself going with active speakers especially Emotiva's because I think they nail things like tone and a holographic type of sound. Having said that, most of Emotiva's gen 1 and 2 stuff were also off the wall great deals. My other favorite deals XPA-1 gen 2 (expensive but sound, oh my gawd!) PA-1 DC-1 (there's other's that sound as good, but it's just a sweet little thing that does everything just right) basx A-100 (tons of fun on sennheiser high impedance phones)

Love my 6s and the Airmotiv 5 I had before them, I couldn't see that speaker line not being a good seller, running my 6s via XLR from a Sherbourn 7020A and it's fantastic and easy, I just need some longer power cords haha.

Just got the email for the T2+ and the new center Airmotiv. I'm bummed because I still have the normal t2s and center I bought months ago still factory sealed in the boxes.
