So I was attempting to hook up my Sherbourn SR-120 to a 3 year old Samsung. The TV has an ARC HDMI & the SR-120 doesn't ( that I can tell ). It does have an HDMI out......but will this work w/ the Samsung? I am admittedly a novis as it relates to the world of TV's hooked up through your stereo/processor . The 2 channel stuff I know enough to be dangerous.....The SR-120 was bought ( from a known person ) with the hopes of some day enjoying the sound of movies and sports with more than the crappy TV speakers. Any advice would be great. Thanks!!

How are you receiving your broadcast? OTA or cable box? I currently have DirecTv.......think it's their Genie box HD-DVR thing....not the high end one that gets 4K.

Simply connect the Genie Box to HDMI 1 on the Sherbourn and your HDMI out on the Sherbourn to your TV, choose HDMI 1 for the input and the audio will be output through the Sherbourn unit and the video will be sent to your TV.
