Anyone ever use an Emotiva amp as a bass shaker amp?

That's a waste of good equipment; just get some cheap class D amp from parts express and call it a day. Save the difference and then buy the Emotiva and use it for your main speakers.

Agreed I use the Dayton APA150 dual channel amps (75x2) for my shakers and they work out well. They also have seperate gain and crossover controls which can be handy if you only have one sub channel to work with. When you look at shakers make sure you also consider the mounting. I added hardwood planks in my reciliners. Attachments:
