I'm trying to listen to music through Tidal on my NVIDIA Shield at the moment but it keeps buffering every 5 seconds for a good 2 or 3 minutes, my internet is fine otherwise, heck I'm a Field Service Technician for my ISP and everything is testing fine but Tidal is sucking bigtime right now, actually been happening a lot as of late Anyone else having issues or is it just my Canadian server crapping the bed...sheesh, looks like I may have to spin some vinyl Chad

Seems to be doing it on my NVIDIA Shield, powered it down and didn't seem to help, I'll get the hammer out today I might grab a new gateway from work, we use the Sagecom HH3000 and it has been giving me some issues trying to login to the software, the Shield is hardwired as my entire audio system is. Chad See if a new SW update has been applied by anybody, Shield or provider? They may have slipped something in without notice.

Do you have another device you can try it from? If so it would prove whether it is the Shield or the Tidal server.

Oh yeah, my Mac Mini through either the Tidal App or through Audirvana or my smartphone through the PlayFi App to my Paradigm PWAMP for my outdoor speakers, I have been spinning vinyl all day so haven't bothered with Tidal today at all

It's probably because the shield is trying to translate everything into Canadian and it's having an issue inserting "eh" into the end of every lyric. Switch the language preference to US English Standard and it should be fine. If not, have a beer ya hoser...

Working here in PA..NO problem.
Try this remedy. In this order. Disconnect your modem...wait ten minutes before reconnecting. Sign out of TIDAL..Delete the app and reinstall..sign back into TIDAL.

Are you still having problems with Tidal? Has it ever worked right with the Shield?

I thought it was just me. Tidal is not impressing me lately. Just asking b/c it's not clear as to what your problem is with TIDAL. Exactly what's is the meaning of not being impressed...that statement opens up lots of doors...Curious!
