First off, sorry it posted sideways, looked straight when I selected it to upload. So is it normal for the blue words to look different? The left looks great the right not so much, this unit is new to me and has some warranty time left, if this isn't normal is it worth trying to get the mothership to take a look and fix?? All seems to function just fine, just the display looks odd. Thanks! Attachment Deleted

Mine starting do this as well and, over time, progressed to also become very dim with numbers not displaying correctly.
I sent it to Emotiva and they replaced the display or at least that's what I assumed because it worked as new.

So they did allow it to be sent in & fixed for this.....great, thanks for the information.

My DC-1 had just a few months of warranty remaining so I only had to cover shipping to Emotiva.
We don't know if your DC-1 has the same issue and will continue to deteriorate or if it is something different.
If it's still under warranty, contact Emotiva and have it repaired. If not, maybe get an estimate for the repair.

OLED displays do actually wear down over time - and they can also fail due to flaws in the driver circuitry. However, the speed at which this occurs varies pretty widely.
An OLED display is a custom part.... so, if it's still under warranty, I would suggest getting it repaired while it's still covered and parts are available. However, if it's out of warranty, the repair is going to be expensive, and it might continue to work for years the way it is, so I wouldn't pay to have it fixed. It is for sure looking into if this is NOT a normal looking screen, I can't imagine it will get any better. I had to max out the dim button to get the view readable enough to take that picture. Thanks again for the heads-up.

Under warranty- Get it fixed!
I had this happen on a $2,000 product. It was 2 months before the warranty expired. I got it done ASAP.
