I have a SR-120 and have been very happy with it. Recently my remote died, and I called to see if I could get a replacement remote and found out there is no remaining stock. I especially use the Zone 2 controls on the remote.
I know I can control the receiver from the OSD and receiver face buttons but this is getting cumbersome. I'm wondering if there is a programmable remote out there that replicates all the SR-120 remote functionality? Or anyone has a spare remote they can sell me :-)
Thanks in advance and look forward to the responses :-)

First of all, I own five SR-120 and they are hands down the best sounding receivers I have ever owned. Even though I have had no problems with my factory remote, I recently purchased a Harmony 650 and it controls my SR-120. Although I have only used the remote for volume and power. I have never attempted to select modes or any kind of programming or adjustment with it. I hope that helps.

Tim Ummm 5 of them.....holy crap, I've got an SR-120 as well.....bought because I couldn't beat the deal I got. Not really used it yet for setting up at sorta-kinda home theater deal, I'm in the middle of moving and it's in the factory box, hooked it up and played around with 2 channel stuff.....so all that being said, you seem a great source for future questions....thanks in advance

Running balanced analog for two channel is the best I have heard, and running it for surround is stellar.

I have an XSP-1 gen 2 for 2 channel, I stumbled across Emotiva stuff by accident. A good friend knew someone that was selling his house and moving into his lady friends place, we all know how that goes, that's where it all started.....SR-120, XPA-2 & XPA-3 Gen 1, ERT 8.3, ERC-3, and Boston Acoustic VR20 & VR12 speakers....also VRM60 speakers, cables, connects, the entire ball of wax...I sorta got out of control...Lol

oh....I forgot the Emotiva DC-1 dac/pre and B1 speakers too...the first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem

I agree the SR-120 is the best Surround amp that I've used. If I could get the codes for Zone2 for Harmony 650 remote or get a replacement remote, I would be all set! I checked on ebay and no one has this remote for sale.
