Picked up a very clean Sherbourn 8100 locally.
I knew I opened a Pandoras box when I moved my Airmotiv T1 in the family room for surround duty, I now have the![]()
T2 on the 2 channel system.
I was using a Sony STR DH 550 on the T1 and knew they needed a little more oomph, So there I am pricing a MC 700 with a A 500 amp,
Spending $1200 on bumping up the performance was not very appealing to me. This 8100 came up for sale and for less than
$200 how could I go wrong? Just ordered the factory renewed Airmotiv C1 and a set of B1 to round up the five channel system.
I will have just over $1k in the entire system so I'll let you all know next week how it all sounds.
