Jazz Fest in my city has been running for 39 years (according to MC of a concert last night), but I've never paid to see a show, I usually go to the free concerts of some of the artists.
This year, I decided to "live a little" and buy a couple of tickets. Went to see Patricia Barber with MDW and MDS and watching Norah Jones on Tuesday. I actually like Patricia Barber CDs due to the excellent engineering and quality of the recordings plus, of course, the different type of songs that Patricia makes.
She sold out on the CDs of her new album available at the venue so there was a short lineup with people who bought their old CDs for Patricia's autograph. Then I saw this one lady who wanted a pic with her with a flip phone. Patricia was like "I can't believe that you still have a flip phone!"
"Living a lot" in a few years would be upgrading my Emo gear plus a Model Y.
How about others, what does "living a little" mean now and what would be "living a lot" in the near future?
