Nice but this one from 2 years ago is more comprehensive, and that Headphone amp use. Yeah that is why you buy this amp! Those resistors bypassed and your high impedance Beyer Dynamics and Sennheisers are driven with gusto! And yeah sure it drives your desk speakers great, you pick them.
But this IS the murderballs headphone amp of all time. Only for way more money does this amp have competition.
Also lest you really have 8 ohm headphones doubtful there, these are your power outputs respectively from Emotiva's own site.
Power Output (headphone output; normal mode):
8 Ohms: 60 mW / channel
33 Ohms: 200 mW / channel
47 Ohms: 250 mW / channel
150 Ohms: 430 mW / channel
300 Ohms: 440 mW / channel
600 Ohms: 350 mW / channel
Power Output (headphone output; direct drive mode)

8 Ohms: 50 watts / channel
33 Ohms: 12 watts / channel

Z has a pair of PA-1s and an SP-1 that he has for review right now.
Joshua Valour just did a review on the A-100 also. Pretty popular amp for a reason.
