I'm about to buy a dsp (minidsp 2x4hd).
I tought that it would be nice to have an Emotiva DSP. Is it something that will be possible in the future?

I’d like to see something like that in an RMC-1 expansion module. What would you like to see different from the MiniDSP, in an Emotiva DSP?

So a case that matches their amplifiers Line. Maybe a better DAC. A price tag similar to minidsp. Less would be very fun. Minidsp seems to have very good functions. So similare too. Procedures and support optimised for Emotiva products. I like the idea of module, but a stand alone version would be appreciate. That's what I see for the moment.

I have no use for an external DSP, the international functions of the XMC-1 and XSP-1 are more than capable of achieving everything I want.
Cheers Gary

Even stand alone I’d want balanced, hence more expensive.

Maybe a 2x5 unit. I mean there's no way to add a subwoofer to a 2 ways configuration. We have to buy a 2x8. There's too much outputs.

As for cost, if it's ok with the feature, quality and support, why not.

Throwing ideas :
A BasX/XPA version, and a XPA-DRC version.

Blending in the sub woofer is hard enough, I have no use for the intricate/infinite complications of crossing over a tweeter, mid and woofer. Cheers Gary

Cheers Gary I understand I was thinking the same few years ago. Before stuff like minidsp creating a crossover was really a hard thing. It required a lot of knowledge and equipement. What's cool about things like minidsp is that everyone can now do that. There's a lot of informations that can be found on forums.
