I am looking to get the Emotiva Airmotiv C1 in a few months, along with a new TV cabinet with enough room on the second shelf to fit a centre speaker. Am I sacrificing anything by placing the C1 on a shelf inside the TV cabinet (like in this picture: www.reddit.com/r/hometheater/comments/aafx12/my_first_setup_so_happy_to_look_at_it/), as opposed to placing it on top?
For those who have the C1 and have tried placing it both inside and on top of the cabinet, have you noticed any difference?
If the centre speaker was back ported, I wouldn't even be considering this. But since the C1 is sealed, I thought it wasn't going to be an issue.....until I saw the last post on the following thread:

So, now I am bit confused and looking for some guidance on this matter.
