After several months of ownership I am VERY unhappy with buying this unit from Emotiva! Numerous issues with xbox and ps4 getting video through it DESPITE multuiple HDMI cable purchases. It takes SEVERAL seconds for it to change from one input to another...
WTF!

Don’t use it for HDMI stuff. The XMC-1 is an outstanding 2ch preamp. Had it for a few weeks and I was impressed.
