I want new pair of 3-ways, haven't gone shopping yet to see if there's something that doesn't cost an arm. (hoping for less than $2500) The Monitor Audio Silver 2.5 way are good enough for movies, but want a better stereo 3-way. That damn Anthem showed old M.A. weakness.
Still leaning toward Jim Holtz's Mini Statements TMWW. If I really like them, then build the Statement Center. WMTW His Statements II are kinda large. Jim Holtz's Anthologys are very interesting.
Wanted Zaph ZRT sealed but only 2.5. I want 3-way. His ZDT3.5 could work, but xover looks complicated (custom coils $). Looked Solstice MLTL Reference Tower, but again, a 2-way.
Would like to hear a comparison between Emo T1+ vs Chane A5.4 just for grins. (both are factory direct sales & inexpensive)
Any consideration please
Would luv to hear them all.

I currently own both the T1 and Chane A5rx-c but don't have the proper room to try and do a side by side comparison where it would be easy to go back and forth between the two, from switching from the chane to the Emotiva T1 though it seems as though the T1 is a bit more open in the highs and I'm actually preferring the T1 slightly over the Chane tower, between my MA RX6, Chane A5, Airmotiv 6s, Stealth 6 and T1 that i currently have I'm certain I like the T1 the most, of course most of this is from memory but I do remember how much i like a speaker and the T1 is something special for the price for sure, but so is the Chane A5 but I'd still like to hear a Tekton speaker as well. Does it ever end...lol Have you considered a set of Tekton speakers, say the Enzo XL, Electron or Double Impacts, your room layout and size would determine what would best fit size and output wise, they get such high praise I wish I could hear a pair in a good room. Especially cool is getting to choose a color Chad

Chad, I'm considering the T1+ audition offer. If I don't diy. Thx They are very impressive speakers, though I haven't heard a huge amount of speakers. My MA RX6 were fabulous speakers and the build quality was outstanding but huge markups of course, the Chanes and especially the T1 are just ridiculously great sounding speakers at their price points. You should see if anyone here lives close to you with some Tekton's to have an audition, I would love the Electron in either the Red or the Nitrous Blue One thing that really differs between the T1 and A5rx-c that I forgot to mention is in my room the T1 seem to dig deeper than the Chanes, this was using Reference Stereo mode on the XMC-1 so no subs active, I'm not sure why that is but I noticed it the instant I started listening to them, I'd imagine the T2 would be even better in this respect but they are a bigger speaker so would depend on your room. Chad

Give Eric a call and tell him your room dimensions, your listening preferences and your gear then he can advise you which of his speakers he feels would perform the best for you.
Being able to choose whatever color you want is also pretty cool!

I have built several of Curt Campells designs and am currently running the Antholgys, you certainly would not be diasapointed with them. Was running a pair of Mini Statements and they were very nice as well, just lacked base because of the RS180s, although they are nice in the smaller room they are in now.
