I have the SR-120 and love this receiver. two days ago when I turned it on I see the Loading.... Message on the screen and it will be like that for several seconds. Then the receiver seems to reboot or turn off and then power back on to Loading.... It will continue to cycle this way if I leave it alone. I'm wondering if someone knows what might be the issue and that I could possibly fix it by replacing a fuse or something. Looking forward to some advice.

Did you try turning the rear switch off (for a few minutes) then back on and try a restart. Also try turning the switch off.....unplug the unit and turn it "on" with no power connected. Leave it like that for 10 min. or so and retry starting up. Bill

Good luck, my UMC-1 finish is life exactly like this, I try to reload the firmware but never been able to do it, with these generation of Emo processors, flashing firmware was a PITA. I think a lot of UMC-1 finish like this but really don't know for the SR-120

You better contact Emo support. For the UMC-1 they don't service it anymore.

Yeah - heard from Emotiva. They cannot repair this system. Time to look for a new HT receiver or processor. I heard about the trade in but at event 15% off the XMC-2 is out of my reach around $2500.... I think I am going to look at Marantz, onkyo, and Yamaha.

Would be a shame if you can’t. I’m dreading the day my SR-120 dies. siggie
