Ok, guys, need your opinions... I have a hexagonal shaped room that is open to the kitchen but the primary area is 15 x 23, but the front wall is only 7 ft wide so the speakers are 6 ft apart max. We sit approx 11 ft back. My current speakers are the size of T1s. I really think I want T2s but worried they are too big for this spot. I don’t think they would overpower the room, but want anyone’s opinion that has either of these speakers. I would add a C1 for center. The C2 would be too big for my cabinet that holds a TT. What do y’all think?

What do y’all think? In general I’m always of the opinion to always get the bigger of whatever two things you are picking between as long as the money is not a huge difference. The T1s may be perfectly fine, but if you can fit the T2s they won’t preform any worse than the 1s, and it’s likely they will be better in the low end in an open room like you have.

There are two main factors that determine whether or not a speaker is "too big" for a room.
The first is if the speakers are producing enough bass that it overwhelms the room.
The Second is whether or not you can sit far enough away from the driver array for the sound waves to "integrate".
It sounds to me that sitting 11 feet back should be more than adequate for sound "reintegration".
Also the T2's aren't that big compared to other speakers. Remembering that placement, (angles of firing integrating with barrier reflections), is key to any set-up.

What do y’all think? The t2 Is definitely not too big. In my opinion they are medium small speakers and They are just perfect for your room

I own the T1's, your room is fine for the T2, I would have purchased the T2 but my room works fine with the T1's and I have two 18" subs that handle the low end soooo yeah Chad

Yep pushing the vote to nudge the T2 to top choice. Big sound yeah, but not that big of a speaker and will get you there sounding great.

I hope you all don't mind me piggybacking on this thread, but I am thinking of giving the T2+ and C2+ speakers a try. However, I cannot afford to get them all at the same time. Which would be better to start with, the C2+ and then later the T2+ or the other way around?
Thank you very much for your thoughts on this.

You might be able to simply NOT use a mains speaker if your current one is inadequate.
