Ok....found all the old info....people who own the UMIK from CSL are sold on it....one final question though...apologies if it's been covered....will the UMIK "work" with the latest version of Dirac for the XMC-2/RMCxx/?

I think no one can answer that so far, since no one has any experiences...
If those processors support other mics in general it should work.
Regarding EMM vs UMIK, if you don´t do general measuring I would rather get the EMM individually calibrated than to buy an UMIK. Better investment and better results imho.

Can’t trust the microphone?!
Just another thing in the always (it seems) growing list of reasons why my favorite part of automated room correction is the “off switch”.
No deference to the XMC itself whatsoever. Over 5 years running I’m overall very pleased with its immensely powerful manual room correction.
In my case setup configuration would be better to say than correction, since my audio space has very little in the way of challenges that would require such automation.

I recieved a refurbished XMC-1 two days ago and have not been able to get Dirac live 3 to find it on my network. I have tried my Surface Pro with win 10 professional, Another laptop with win 10 pro, an addtional laptop with windows 10 home edition and the android version. None of them work. Is there a different version of Dirac that i should be using? I do not see any other versions on their website. Is there something that i need to setup on the XMC-1 that i am missing? Please Help!!!

The XMC-1 isn't supported by Dirac Live 3. Moreover, a "refurbished" XMC-1 doesn't come with a Dirac license.
