Ok....found all the old info....people who own the UMIK from CSL are sold on it....one final question though...apologies if it's been covered....will the UMIK "work" with the latest version of Dirac for the XMC-2/RMCxx/?

If those processors support other mics in general it should work.
Regarding EMM vs UMIK, if you don´t do general measuring I would rather get the EMM individually calibrated than to buy an UMIK. Better investment and better results imho.

Can’t trust the microphone?! Just another thing in the always (it seems) growing list of reasons why my favorite part of automated room correction is the “off switch”. No deference to the XMC itself whatsoever. Over 5 years running I’m overall very pleased with its immensely powerful manual room correction. In my case setup configuration would be better to say than correction, since my audio space has very little in the way of challenges that would require such automation.
