Hey everyone!
I purchased a XDA-2 from a buddy of mine who didn't need it anymore, but I can't get it to be recognized by my Windows 10. I've already tried the Recovery mode and then disable the Diable thingy. But when it says "Connect CMEDIA" or something like that, I hook up the Emotiva and turn it on, press 'OK' and it shows the same warning again. After trying different ports it closes the terminal. Anyone who can help me out?
Cheers!

If you are using USB go to Home on this forum, there is a section onn usb drivers. about halfway down the list is the windows 10 driver link to dropbox and dropbox has the firmware and instructions for installing it

A USB to SPDIF convertor has served me well with both XDA-1 and XDA-2 DAC's with Windows 10 Dozen's available at widely varying prices, the Topping D10 is well regarded at about $90.00 I currently use Musical Fidelity convertors in two systems, no drivers needed

And the Emotiva is then still upgrading the sound from the SPDIF unit right?

Interesting. I have mine running Windows 10 now. No problems. Best wishes in your hunt to fix it.

Instead of SPDIF I connect the dragonfly with 3.5mm to the XDA?

I don't think I did anything different. When I plugged it in, the computer automatically found the driver, and things have worked great since then. I will mess with it when I get home to see if I can figure anything.
