Because of placement, my XMC-2 has trouble seeing it's remote control. I'd like to get some kind of IR "eye" to plug into the XMC-2 IR input to extend pickup, But I have no idea what to get. Any suggestions? An Amazon link would be wonderful!

I have asked this question with my XMC-1 and never really got any info from anyone or Emotiva, I use a repeater kit and just stick the eye on the front of my XMC-1, if I use a mono 3.5mm cable from he repeater to the rear IR input it does nothing, even if I change the IR settings around in the XMC-1, weird thing is when I hooked up my PT-7020 that way it worked fine ?? I use one of these and just stick the eyes on the front of my equipment, like I mentioned though a mono 3.5mm cable worked fine from it to my Sherbourn so not sure why the XMC-1 doesn't work the same way. I’ve used 2 different brands of these infrared eyes, with and without the repeater and also changed the xmc-1 settings, but it also fails to work. I have to sit up, lean forward and point down to the xmc-1 every time. I wish this feature worked.
