Using the XSP-1 gen2 and the XLR in/outs

I thought i posted this question but guess not.

if you use the XLR outs from the XSP-1  you loose the crossovers and the trim adjustments?   is that true?

I need the XLR for the boost in the gain to run my pro amps .  but now I am thinking about changing amps to something else .
