Cant get my head around why you would need something like that or where you would put it in a normal listening room. I have a 15" Tempest and it is never above the 9/10 oclock position on my plate amp

It looks like a refrigerator painted black. I would like to hear what it sounds like though.

Really low distortion levels at normal listening, this doesn't need to be pushed as hard a regular boxed sub to achieve the same output resulting in less distortion and cleaner output, and can also bring the house down haha. Not as badass but I really want to build some Marty boxes for my other two 18's I have sitting idle right now shop.gsgad.com/

Ugly is in the mind of the beholder, of course, but there aren't too many ways to get a genuine 16Hz @ 100db. A large driver in a horn-loaded enclosure is one of them.
A couple of these in a dedicated theater space hidden in the corners of a large room or behind the screen would work wonderfully.
