Russound had some nice ones-4 & 6 out and has dual inputs. Owned Speakercraft sold it- mediocre. Russound much better quality.
Been pondering this one- AB-2.2 Table Top, Dual Source Speaker Selector, so I can eliminate 1 pair of speakers in my room.

Niles has always been good with speaker selectors and the like. My thinking is to use it in the garage, one pair of speakers for the garage, the other would be in the backyard, I can keep the volume in the garage higher, the speakers in the backyard lower, I'm trying to make sure it would work fine...

Niles has always been good with speaker selectors and the like. My thinking is to use it in the garage, one pair of speakers for the garage, the other would be in the backyard, I can keep the volume in the garage higher, the speakers in the backyard lower, I'm trying to make sure it would work fine... I ran a 12 gauge four conductor speaker wire into the attic and wired it to a terminal strip to act as a splice. From there I ran speaker wires to the garage, patio, front porch and used a Russoud impedance matching volume control at each location I have speakers. These Russounds have been operating flawlessly for twenty years. These volume controls do have an 'off' detent. You can parallel up to sixteen speaker pairs depending upon your speaker and amplifier impedance ratings. I set my Zone 2 volume to 75% and then I can turn on/off the speakers and adjust the volume from my listening location.
