Sold Conrad Johnson for years. 10 to be exact. Not everyone's cup of tea, and I am alright with that. Big fan of their double chassis Premier Preamplifier. A honey. Congrats on your CJ power amp. Even if Spock didn't build it, it still is a good one!

Does it have a Phono section? Yes Davidr the mono blocks were replaced with the Conrad JohnsonPremier 140 and no on the phono stage. The Bob Latino tube mono-blocks were an excellent starting point for me to get my feet wet with tubes. They are fantastic amplifiers at a GREAT price. The opportunity came to purchase a behemoth of an amplifier, not just in size and weight but power so I jumped on it. I did not have to rob the bank after selling my mono-blocks. |

Only his Katra knows for sure. I love Mr. Spock! |
