Emotiva lowers price on Amplifiers

Prices have dropped on Amps. Processors still the same retail

Right after I bought one a couple weeks ago! At least I got $30 off for signing up for text messages.

Guessing that maybe it’s due to tariffs coming off parts sourced from China?

I didn't notice and probably wouldn't have if not for this thread. Dan did say back when these products prices were raised that if the tariffs were temporary they would re-evaluate their prices, so maybe this is what happened? Below is his post covering this.

This is very interesting. Sometimes things come out the way people say. Sometimes they are good things.

my guess is..... the new agreement the U.S. made with China reduced some of the tariffs.

Dan has always tied his prices directly to his costs as noted in the previous post. think that is a pretty good thing.

The new China agreement stopped new tariffs that were scheduled to take effect and reduced the rate on some, such as large machinery. Most existing 25% tariffs stayed in place. Electronic parts tariff was not affected - or at least none of the components MY company imports.

They also suspended the 15% tariffs on list 4B products that has smaller electronic components, ie speakers that aren't mounted in their enclosures. Perhaps some parts Emo uses fall under the 4B list.

They had or probably still have their Eggnog special.....two HC-1s for $1299 plus a free $20 coupler kit.

yes they do,,but with my military discount i get them a little cheaper from full price,1260.00 with 10% discount.

Got my A-800 on clearance. Just about 1/2 price, I think.
