I am able to connect my Gen I XMC-1 to my old Window 7 laptop with the Dirac Live LE program on it. That program was installed on that laptop in 2015. It finds and connects fine: The first time I ran the measurements I did not save them before hitting the Create Filters button. As soon as I hit it I got this error pop up message: [DSP server processing failed - Server communication failed, please check your internet connection and try again.] I hit OK but it just locked up the program on the laptop. I then forced the program closed. I then shut down the XMC-1 and left it off for about 5 min and booted it back up. I then connected fine again to the XMC-1 from the laptop and re-ran all of the measurements. This time, before I attempted to upload the filters I saved the project. After I saved the project and hit the Create Filters and immediately got the same error message. I then checked my XMC-1 network connections per this thread: emotivalounge.proboards.com/thread/40758/dirac-xmc-1-work-progress-767588I shut down my laptop, the XMC-1 and my home's internet router. I then powered on the router, XMC-1 and laptop. I connected just fine and was able to load the saved project. Again, as soon as I hit the Create Filters button I got the same error message. I checked to ensure the laptop still had the same WiFi internet connection and it did. Any suggestions on how to resolve this? Do I need to update the Dirac Live LE for Emotiva program? Could this be a problem with verifying the licence? Thanks for any help with this.

Sounds like a problem connecting to the Dirac Live server. Could be a license problem and it is just blowing you off... I would try contacting Dirac Live; they have been helpful IME.

To be able to connect to the Dirac server I need to turn on the xmc1 with the on / off button, if I only go out of standby mode I have an error system indicated by Dirac

Looking for some help with DIRAC Live full version; when trying to create the DIRAC filters for my XMC-1 (original unmodified), I'm getting the "DSP Server Processing Failed" error, "Server communication failed, please check your internet and try again." I'm using the same PC for DIRAC for the past six years or so since getting DIRAC Live full version. The internet on the PC is just fine. Got the error at the weekend and still have it now. I sent a message to DIRAC Live on their "contact us" page, but not holding out much hope of a reply. Any ideas? Thanks.

Solved. The Windows 7 PC with the Dirac was unable to communicate with the Dirac license server, the Event Viewer showed Schannel Event ID 36887 Fatal Alert 70 and 40. Some services likely got screwed up by some internet games the kids had installed. Luckily I still had the original Dirac installer files from 2015 so was able to install Dirac on a Windows 10 PC. Re-used the .dprj project file that I saved just before attempting to create the filters from the Windows 7 PC to save taking all the measurements again. The filters then created fine using the Windows 10 PC and uploaded onto the XMC-1.
