I see B1+ now unavailable, as has been C2+. There have been a bunch of very favorable reviews of the B1+ recently, so maybe there was a rush of orders. In any case, I wonder if there is a slowdown getting product out of China. (Obviously affecting anything coming out of China)

If it isn't yet, it certainly has the potential to...
Time magazine has a good article that came out most recently. What I like about their article is that it deals not only with the epidemiology of the virus, but also the political effects (giving a stark picture of current-day China). The article also raises the question, "do we REALLY want to have our products produced there?"

This is not the reason why the B1+ speakers are out of stock. We keep in internal plan for the year on how many items to order based on data. Well Steve Guttenberg's incredible review caused a run on all the B1+ speakers we had. There are more on the way but sometimes you get things like that you can't plan for.

Read that Wuhan China has returned 100% back to work [don't know if news is credible now that MSM has been booted out of China]. After population decreases as well as protests being brought to a halt normal work may reside. Probably a shortage of workers now?
If Wuhan is an indicator of things to come being ground zero we may find hope and comfort knowing that merchandise from the Emotiva product page will be in abundant supply.

Do you trust what they say ? Hey brother, Based on context who's "they"? Emotiva, China, MSM or if you wish to know which source of news is reporting that Wuhan has returned to work 100% than that was gathered by various news publications which are reporting and being streamed to members at Codias. Emotiva is an American based company that I want to believe are trustworthy when reporting business. Likewise, I want to believe our free press protected under the first Amendment leans towards the principles that "make America great" rather than the Chinese Government. As for which sources I tend to lean towards in confidence [here's a clue] they are the publications that take things, events, statements etc into historical, immediate, and broad context. And just a reminder, please, no political or religious responses

After what China just did to the world shame on any company that does business there. Good luck with that! What device did you type the above post on? Apple iPhone, iPad, Mac etc plenty of Chinese sourced components and/or the complete product made in China. PC maybe Lenovo, Dell, HP, etc almost guaranteed to be sourced from China. Lenovo, the ex IBM PC division, is of course Chinese owned, since 2005. Got an Intel chip in it, good American company, listed on the NASDAC, $15 billion of their revenue in 2017 came from Chinese manufacturing. Another view, if you don’t buy a Chinese manufactured computer, smart phone, tablet etc then indirectly you put out of work the American engineers who designed it, the American software writers who wrote the operating system and the application software, the American warehouse, packers etc that sent it to you, the American retailer workers who work in the shop you bought it from, online or bricks and mortar. That’s how the world economy works, we may not like it, but globally sourced products are in most things that we buy and use everyday. Cheers Gary

Apple have been trying to get more of their manufacturing and assembly done in India (another high population, low cost economy) for decades, but they keep running into the same problems. Government red tape, uncooperative bureaucracy, disparate local government development processes, strict labour laws, unsatisfactory health and safety standards and protectionist trade policies all have proven difficult to overcome. Why is India different, well mostly because it’s a democracy, the largest democracy in the world, and that brings with it a whole raft of problems that China, with its communist government, simply doesn’t face. You want a factory here, you need 3000 employees, no problem, it will be done, using whatever means necessary. Cheers Gary
