There is an eBay auction currently ongoing for a mis-matched pair of Klipsch Chourus II, empty speaker cabinets that I have a perfect use for. No need to link, they are so rare that it is only one set up for sale on eBay that I'm aware of.
Long story short, I came across the components probably 10 years ago from a military spouse, clearing house. When I saw them advertised as speaker parts, I knew right off what they were as I have a pair of original Klipsch Chorus IIs that I purchased in Korea in the early 90s while serving overseas.
I had for all intents and purposes resorted to building new 'Klipsch like' cabinets, but then came across these which would turn my efforts from purchasing materials and finding someone with the appropriate woodworking machinery to a plug and play solution.
So, I'm looking for someone close to Miami that could examine and pick up the cabinets after I pay for them. I would then arrange for pickup within 30 days. I will likely drive down myself. Shipping from Miami to Maryland, even in this day and age has proven a challenge and unnecessarily expensive in my opinion.
At any rate I'm not a scammer and I'm an actual person in need , if there is anyone available to assist, please reach out to me, to see if we can come to an agreement that would be worth your while. Currently working with a car rental, 1 overnight hotel, fuel 1000-1100 miles one way and 2 days travel. Flights are ridiculous over the next few weeks. I've also made my intentions to build new cabinets known on the Klipsch forum to check-in with the OGs as not to disrespect the original design and ensure that I do the new build justice. No scam, it is me, and I really give a care about restoring my Klipsch for another 2 channel system that will probably be pushed with my Adcom amp. Of course I would return the favor for any items you ever need from the DMV, and Pennsylvania area.
