Hello all-
Playing HD audio material thru UMC 200 for the first time , cannot get the emotiva to show that it is playing anything above 48khz. USing the amazon PC app, an HDMI cable from computer to UMC 200. All standard 320 bitrate files play normally with JRiver.
When playing on PC thru amazon hd music app, it tells what file khz is, device capabiliy is, and what it plays at. For instance on the emotiva its says track is 24/96 khz, drive capability 24/48khz, currently playing at 24/48khz, and the umc 200 displays out PCM 48khz. If I switch computer from UMC 200 output, to soundcard output on PC, the amazon hd app detects drive capability of 24/96, and currently playing at24/96.
If I play downloaded 24/96khz flac files and play on JRiver, Jriver shows playing 24/96, but UMC 200 display shows PCM 24/48.
Cant find any settings to change on UMC 200 change to allow to play 96khz or 128 khz flac files.
Any help would be appreciated, on getting to UMC 200 to decode the flac files at higher resolution. My only workaround is to use the PC soundcard with mini jack to rca analog direct in to the UMC 200.
Paul
