I have XSP-1 gen 2, and two (2) active subwoofers. I can only get one near the right main, and the other is very far away from the left main (diagonal across room, as far as can be). So I think i should run them both in mono. How do i do that? Should I connect to the single mono sub output, then just use a RCA splitter "Y" cable?

Do you have the ability to accept balanced XLR input to the Subwoofer? Makes life nicer on longer runs, less chance of noise as the XSP-1 will run RCA or XLR balanced.

Yes you could use a Y to split your RCA cable, also if one of your subs has an XLR input you could use XSP-1's RCA output to one sub and the XSP-1's XLR output to the other sub as both the XSP-1's RCA and XLR outputs will be active, or if neither of your subs has an XLR input you could still do it this by using an XLR to RCA cable or adapter, also some subs have outputs if yours does you could use the the subs output to connect the other sub..
