Looking forward to your review Nick. I have now had the DR-3 powering Tekton Ulfberhts LCR into 4 ohms for about two months. I especially hope that you do a critical listening comparison between the XPA amps and the DR series. Especially since some of the potential market might be guys thinking about upgrading which included myself [replaced XPA Gen 3 5 Channel]. The question put to you in hopes that you might answer the questions [if you take requests ], if you already have an XPA Gen 3 amp and are thinking about upgrading to the DR series perhaps these are the reasons for or against? Enjoy and looking forward to the next video! William

Also wondering whether DR3 amps switch the inputs of the XLR? Could someone clarify that the Emotiva amps reverse the XLR inputs and that if running an Emotiva amp to power LCR for example and another external amp to power a sub that the subs will be out of phase? From what I've read Emotiva amps have the XLR pins reversed. I take that isn't a problem for someone powering an entire system with only Emotiva amps but if mixing with other amps wouldn't this cause phase issues? If so, it would probably be a good idea to mention this as a lot of people run an Emotiva amp with an active [self-powered] subwoofer.

I am contemplating their baby brothers the moabs for LCR on the same amp from the RMC-1. I don’t know if you’ve ever heard paradigm but curious if you think my old 100v4 paradigms might function well as surrounds. Not sure how well those two house sounds might blend.

G'day Irobertson, I began my "amateur" reviews here: www.disqus.socialMy prologue for the Ulfberhts are written here: www.disqus.social/2020/02/review-tekton-design-ulfberht.htmlAs far as the MOABs I can only suggest from what I observe by reviewers as I've never heard them myself in person. I almost bought four of them instead of the Ulfberhts. The deciding factor for me was the lack of mention by reviewers regarding midbass pressurization whenever reviewing the MOABs. They lack the 8 seven inch midbass drivers of the Ulfberhts. The Encores though from what I see spec wise do have at least 4 of the seven inch drivers. From what I gather the Ulfberhts are the flagship and the MOABs receive "trickle" down technology pertaining to the 15 tweeter array. I have never heard of a bad review regarding the MOABs. Regarding surrounds right now I'm trying to get a handle on my listening area. The room is extremely lively and the amount of reflection and echoes, well, I can't imagine adding other speakers at the moment. I mean when I cut the volume suddenly or mute the music sound remains bouncing off walls. I plan to start room treatment soon. As is now I have a "natural rear surround" from sound reflecting which I'm trying to get a handle on. The DR3 powering the ULFs ~ Insane volumes. Thanks for asking bro, William P.S. happy listening.
