How long is it taking Emotiva to finalize registering processors' Mac #s? I have so far received only one confirmation email immediately after I pressed the submit button within the registration webpage. The confirmation email said that Emotiva would get back to me "shortly". It has been 4 days since I received that email and Emotiva has yet got back me to confirm that my processor Mac # is registered. In the meantime, I have been trying to run Dirac Live 3 but all my efforts have been unsuccessful so far. Dirac Live 3 is not able to detect my processor while they are both on the same LAN network. I guess until Emotiva finishes registering my processor Mac#, Dirac Live won't detect my processor. Is this true? How long is it taking Emotiva to finalize Mac# registration?

Have you received your Dirac kit yet from Emotiva. If you haven’t you can’t run Dirac until you do.

Once registered, we have been sending the info to Dirac daily. If it isn't working it could be either you haven't received your Dirac kit yet, Dirac hasn't loaded your info yet or the ball got dropped somewhere in between (pretty vague, I know, sorry). If you have your kit and everything is working correctly, then give Dirac a few more days to load it into their system. Lonnie

Dirac Live 3 is not able to detect my processor while they are both on the same LAN network. They need to be on the same "Segment" of the network. Are you able to Enable Dirac? GoTo Setup:: Speakers:: Preset 1:: Dirac Live:: Enable (this is where you should see a checkbox) After Enabling Dirac, you will not use the processor any further, it is locked. All operations take place in the Dirac App. edit: This is what you will see the first time. After selecting a Dirac Filter, some Menu items will disappear - like Distance for example.

Wow I am posting to see what happened to this thread. Seems like everyone packed up and left town hehe.
Also okjazz did you get that sorted?

I'm currently running measurements and I'm still looking at the enable button checked. Also, may want to close the app and reopen after enabling. I had to do this myself.

Ok I am redoing my firmware because this thing was glitching out so bad after I did it the first time. We will see. I will definitely not leave that screen the next time. Thanks

Do not back out of Menu, this will DISABLE Dirac. Everything after check-box enable of Dirac is handled on the computer with the Dirac application. edit: This bears repeating: Highlight the Checkbox for enabling Dirac, press the UP ARROW. Put down the remote. Leave this the way it is and use the computer with the Dirac app on it.

Intermittently mine says Dirac live not available. In fact 90% of the time I can't get it to see the Dirac box. Now it always shows Dirac Live not available

Important Note: Please see the video on the first page of: The Official Dirac Live Thread : G3P called "Running Dirac Live Video".
Watch the entire video, but pay very close attention to 3:19 when the video shows what happens when Dirac Enable Checkbox is checked. After checking this box, STOP, put down the remote. The processor is now locked. Now start the Dirac app on the computer and proceed from there.

Intermittent my mine says Dirac live not available. In fact 90% of the time I can't get it to see the Dirac box Please check that the processor has a Link Light on the NIC. The Link must be on. Does the processor have an IP address? Are you using DHCP? Does the EDNIB have a Link Light on the network switch or router or whatever network device you are using? Please watch the video on the first page called Running Dirac Live Video.

And I watched that video but didn't even notice that part about after you enable Dirac. That should be highlighted for sure.

No green light on the processor nic. I had it once and then it just vanished. I am using my own switch which is showing a link the RMC1 shows it has an ip address but the green light on the back of the RMC1L's nic isn't lit at all just the orange

And I watched that video but didn't even notice that part about after you enable Dirac. That should be highlighted for sure. Yes, it should be clearer. The video says "this will now lock you out of controlling of the processor". There really should be another direction saying explicitly to not do another thing with the processor. Look awaaay!

No green light on the processor nic. I had it once and then it just vanished. If the EDNIB is connected, disconnect it. Don't connect it until you have an IP address for the processor. Please check your Information tab in the Menu to see what it says about the IP Address which will be listed as "Network" followed by the IP address, for example 192.168.1.199 What is connected to what in your network. Please look at the Dirac Live manual as supplied by Emotiva and tell us which connections you have. You can look at page 9 of the manual linked here >>> cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/2572/6926/files/emotiva_dirac_user_v13.pdf?v=1593525404. The manuals can be found on the first page of this thread.

Now trying the switch that came in the Dirac box and so far still no luck. Nope no luck how do I reset the nic?
