I have a pair of refurbed T2 originals. currently running a Wyred4Sound ST-1000 which is ice powered dual mono 500+ watts per side.
I dont need that much power any more so I am thinking of selling the W4S and buying something about half that power.
what you guys are running?

Using an Emotiva SA-250 rated at 400 wpc into 4 ohms. It drives them well and never breaks a sweat.

I don't own them, but I will say - with the old XPA-1's as monoblocks, the T2's sound a-maz-ing...

I sold most of my gear and grabbed a D-Sonic amp used for a sweet deal and I can honestly say that my T1 have never sounded so good as with the B&O Ice Modules, this is A/B'ing with a quite capable Class A/B amplifier, the D-Sonic seems to just sound more natural and open and dynamic, i say keep the amp you have. I have no clue why and some may disagree with me but the D-Sonic I have is capable of 500 watts into 4ohms for the T1 and it sounds stunning, I put on some Dave Brubeck artist radio the other night on Tidal and I was blown away at how well the percussion and instruments sounded, the D-Sonic is a keeper I will admit.

With dynamic peaks having more power than less will never hurt your feelings or your speakers. Unless you are talking a much smaller room and much lower listening levels, power is something I wouldn't take away. The Wyred 4 Sound is an excellent amplifier as well. I heard these guys at Axpona a few years back. Great product. In my humble opinion, enjoy what you have. Check out other things in the system that may elevate your enjoyment to the next level. Reducing power seldom is a great solution in the areas of dynamic headroom and more. Plus Duo Monos is an excellent topology as well. Of course your system. Just my 2 cents.

I absolutely agree...
You'll never have too much power and, from everything I've heard about it, the Wyred4Sound is an excellent amp.
(Also, to be blunt, by the time you get past the aggravation, and the money fees, "downgrading" is rarely economically worthwhile.)
