I don't know the ins and outs of the 30% Emo-buck promotion, so best to ask sales@emotiva, but if you could snag a refurb XMC-1, with the 30% Emo-bucks you could apply the $360 to the XPA-7 which would keep you under your $3k limit. Or, you could get the XPA-7, receive $600 in Emo-bucks to apply to a XMC-1 when they become available again (saves even more money). One thing I do know (because I checked); you cannot get a lesser channel XPA amp and use the Emo-bucks to upgrade the channel count.
