Once I get everything together, I may just do that. Would probably have been MUCH easier and probably cheaper to buy some already made. Unfortunately, my mind conjures up ideas and I get going....lol. I should have the rough wood template done next week for the bass traps. They are actually going to be at the top four corners of my room and be roughly 4 feet long. Thanks for the compliments Luis Rich .....and before anyone says it, damn, my ceiling fan is dusty. Awesome idea! If I can make one suggestion, wouldn't the top panel on the top left look more uniform if fully extended to match the one below it?

My drawing isn't really to scale, but I understand what you mean by the drawing. The lower panels will most likely be turned 90 degrees to fit the design better. I have exactly 6" spacing between the panels for uniformity so far. Plus, the upper corners will have bass traps so I have to still figure out how everything ties together. Good eye though. That's why I've spent a lot of time laying out different patterns on the garage floor. Should look something closer to this (excuse the caveman-like MSPaint skillz):

So this little amplifier came in just to tease me.... My turn to give you a little amp envy...LOL. Here's a pair of LT1300s being modified by eD. I have one of these puppies on the back of my Dual 13Av.2.

Man! I luv this thread! Some people here have great taste and are very honest with their better half. Also, some people really love their bass, plus others are quite clean with their garages.
Sorry I cannot participate as I don't fit any of these profiles (dogs in a cage guarding the sub, so it won't take off... ;D ).
Man! I tought I was smart and knew everything there is to know!!!

Man, you guys are buying lots of cool stuff. My last purchase was lunch and I don't think you want to see a picture of how that's looking now. I did just pay for a UMC-1 last week but it has not shipped yet.

ny, how many damn speakers do you go through per year lol? It seems like I've seen at least 3 or 4 different sets in your room in the past year. It must be fun though huh?

I'm just giddy with excitement................ordered the wood end plates from Kazoo for my audio gear and I found a site to make a nice wood knob for my headphone amplifier. I've sent some parts off my headphone amplifier to Kazoo to replicate in wood also. Should look very nice when completed.
