After much dismay with trying to find a nice place for our wedding, we went ahead and rented the whole Vintage Tavern restaurant for ourselves on Saturday, October 9th, 2010. The place is very pretty and the food and wine list is excellent. It'll be fun to have the whole place to ourselves all night. vintagetavernvirginia.com/Place looks pretty big. Are you planning on inviting all of us???

Yup.......gotta love any excuse to buy more tools. It was very hard for me to NOT start gluing and screwing this thing together tonight. I'm waiting for my son to come over in the morning. Speaking of tools....... took a friend to Home Depot, and couldn't resist....... Mini Tools!!!! I like that flex extension for a screw driver. Wish I had it when I was installing video/audio card to my HTPC because it was really hard to reach Philips screw inside case with conventional screw driver...

Went to an art festival and grabbed a few things for the house: A slate mirror for the foyer: A slate frame to put out future wedding picture in:

Mini screwdrivers are a necessity. Yup. These looked pretty sturdy compared to the dollar store variety I have had for so many years. All 3 packs were on sale for under $5 each.

And about a picture of the 'bribe' that is going to go in that frame?

We are far enough away that I don't worry about getting flooded with guests. Saipan has a lot to offer for people except shopping. We've got history, outdoor sports, water sports, wonderful Asian/island dinning, world class golf courses 3 of which are on the water and the most stable climate on earth. We're more then happy to entertain guests. The guest roomJust double checking to make sure. ...Everything's okie-dokie.

Are you starting to get the picture about FREEDOM on the cheap? ;D ................. jk (do I have to buy a new bathing suit?)

Now you can get Gabriela one of those ones that were posted before which should do nicely for her. The cost involves you cooking us some good food while you're here. We also don't mind getting a nice bottle of something you would like to share.

It's my own recipe from when I was living in the desert, in the Okanagan Valley by Osoyoos, Penticton, Naramata, Manitou Park, Chute Lake, Paradise Ranch, Indian Rock Creek, Kelowna, Oyama... in British Columbia, CANADA.
;D "Smile of the Chief", that is the exact Indian traduction for "Naramata" (about 15 miles north of Pencticton, across Summerland the other side of the Okanagan Lake where I spent almost 15 years of my life). I studied philosophy and the science of humility, forgiveness, druid spirituality, and transcendental offering there during all those years. I was a true hippie then and still am, and playing all type of flutes from all kind of woods of all over the world. And I still play flute occasionally, but steel and silver ones mainly (alto and soprano). Honest to God.
Once you said to me, "you must had a charming life". That is a huge understatement, my life's been and still full of magical moments of great passion and spirituality. I buy stuff every single day, but not always with money if you know what I mean.

To Lord of the Rings: I lived in Victoria, BC for almost 30 years and spent many summers camping & canoeing in the Okanagan Valley. I am surprised that you didn't mention Nelson, BC. It took several trips there before I figured out that the sweet smelling blue haze over Nelson did *not* come from slash burns outside of town but rather from substances being smoked intown. :^)
