I've seen this bring up some interesting ideas or items from forumnites. I don't want to limit it to audio gear, but that may be the most interesting to forum fellas. Besides being on the list for the USP-1 (my seventh Emotiva piece of gear), I just purchased my third Epik subwoofer (Sentinel) for the new office build. I also decided to go out on a limb and try the new upper-end inwalls from The Speaker Company. Fortunately, the speakers are re-branded MB Quarts Alexxas speakers and should be a great bang for the buck solution for the girlfriend's new office. I'll keep the good stuff for my office. Picked up three of the dual 6.5" woofer models for F/R/C and then a pair of single 6.5" woofers for the side surrounds: New sub for the room: Also snagged 32 black Acoustiboards (2'x4') to finish the listening room....awesome deal of ~$7 per board: I know 90% of my purchases have been because of reviews/info from forum members or audio sites.......let's see what cool stuff is out there.

LOL.............congrats on the engagement. I hate to count my chickens before they hatch, but I hope to have something painted Arancio Borealis in my garage by the end of August. Gotta get the Z06 sold here soon.

Here's my most recent purchase..........it was yummy good. Mine was actually a bacon mushroom cheeseburger with A-1 sauce, minus the lettuce and tomato. In reality, it comes as a double. You have to order the small burger in order to get a single.

I grabbed the 1000 Watt version for my HTPC build. I've been so busy that I haven't even loaded the OS on it yet. I'm going to see how the 80gig solid state drive works for a boot disk. Then, I've got a 1 TB WD Black Series and a 300 gig Velociraptor disk to play with along with the Quad core and 12gig of ram:

How does it work, ect? How much does something like that go for? I'm sorry I'm so ignorant, but I guess I'm one of the few who are still holding on to physical media as being my main source of entertainment. Maybe we should start a section here in the forums titled "HTPC for Dummies"...'cause that is definitely where I fit in. I do have to agree though, it looks real cool!! ;D I may have to buy one just to stare at it.

Pioneer DT-500 Audio TimerThis probably isn't too exciting for the majority of you but it will replace the existing Yamaha DT-2 audio timer, which has a green display, in my main system. The blue display and silver face will fit in nicely with the RSP-1/RPA-1. This picture is of the timer in my bedroom system. The unit I just purchased hasn't arrived yet but all the lettering is supposed to be in tact, unlike the one pictured. I use it mainly for the clock but the switched outlets are handy for the turntable. It gives me the ability to completely remove power from my TT when cleaning the stylus and other maintenance/adjustment procedures.
