Not willing to cut into my vaulted ceilings for immersive channels, so I'm going to give the SVS Prime Elevation wall mount height/Atmos speakers a trial. I've seen some reviews and heard actual demos with these, so hopefully I get close to the same immersive sound that in-ceiling provides.

Just ordered a 50' Cat 5e line and a coax/ethernet wall plate. Going to run hardwired internet back to our bedroom. The wifi back there is just too spotty for reliable Roku, and the wifi is into Hallmark Channel season - so I need to quickly remedy that! (And Roku Ultras are 50% off for Black Friday!)

I have to run Ethernet through my attic for my music server, I am just waiting for it to cool off here in South Florida, we are still in the 80s.

Just ordered this pair from Audio Advisor. Good deal on the DAC, regular price on the Streamer. This pair will do full unfolded MQA. I will use them in my 2 channel Cary pre / Musical Fidelity mono block / Revel Salon Ultra 2 system.

Went to Pro Audio LA today and picked up a couple of speaker cables from them. To prepare for the arrival of the XPA-1s, I needed a cable that had at least a foot wide spread. The Rocket 33s I've been using do not offer that. Walked in and talked to the guys. They whipped these 6 footers up for me on the spot and and I was out the door in 30 mins. Got in some good conversation and listened to Pink Floyd's Animals on some powered monitors they had going in their mixing room. Having them right down the street is a definite perk of living here. I can't recommend them enough, especially if you need XLR cables. I'm ready to go for Monoblock Friday!

My new Maggie 3.7i beauties from my lovely wife for birthday #60! Sounding great through the RMC-1 and they still need to break in. So excited! Many thanks to Ron at Northwoods Audio in Grand Rapids for all of his help.

With that distance between, be sure to try them with tweeters in. Also, if you find you'd like more bass, the DWM bass module does a fine job.
PM me if you'd like more info.
Congrats!!

Now that you mention it - my crawlspace might be a bit chilly this time of year. I hope my wife appreciates what I am about to do for her. Better cold that sweating hot! Mark The Roku Ultra and new cat6 line came in! Getting the line run through the basement ceiling and crawl space to the wall was easy. But, when I built the house, the holes I pre-drilled to thread cable up into the walls were large enough to fit the cable with ease...but too tight to easily fit the connector through! So, I had to do a bit of surgery to increase the hole size. It would have been easy, but I had string running from the outlet box down to the hole to make pulling the line up easy. That made the surgery difficult! But, I got it worked out, and the line is installed and the wall plate is active! The new Roku Ultra is all set up and running nice and zippy-dee-do-dah fast! Mark
