Yes been a gun junky since I was 8 years old. Knew what I wanted for years. Colt .45 ACP variant. So bought a whole bunch of different guns in my travels including SW 686, HK-P7 M13, Glock 23,34, Canik TP-SA 2nd gen, Desert Eagle .357 Magnum, Baretta 92SF, Remington Pack rifle left hand bolt 7.39mm and SPAS 12 Shotgun. Compensated Brolin .45 ACP Auto, before it became Kimber. Walther PPX too. Also a SW M&P Gen 2 full size. 9mm. So yes, we techs love our guns. I do them one at a time these days. All I have time for these days. I haven't shot in 4 years so overdue. Did okay actually. So this Canik is my latest. Kind of like going home again. I love the Canik Trigger and the value is tough to beat too.

Took home a known quality. The trigger is awesome for out of the box. The Canik TP-SA Mod2. Copy of the Walther P99. In a dark charcoal finish. Yay buddy! Didn't know you were a gun enthusiast! Putting a last personalization on my 9mm. Just ordered a lug quick disconnect for the 9mm's can. Here was my last test day: Running three rounds of subsonic FMJ through the 9mm. Running three rounds of supersonic Super Extra .22lr through M&P 15-22. Today was mainly to test the 11 pound recoil spring / Neilson-Booster device on the M&P 2.0 9mm. No problems w/ reliable cycling. Note: No hearing protection worn nor resulting hearing damage occurred during R&D day I am trying to figure your handgun there, is that a CZ? I am kind of stuck there.

The above picture is off the net to show the can's lug quick disconnect. In the video I'm showing a Smith and Wesson M&P 2.0 9mm with 4.6 inch threaded barrel: www.smith-wesson.com/product/mp-m20?sku=11770

You're going to want to shoot a lot too, even though it is for your wife.

Bought a TAC Light for my Canik. Any Standard 1913 Picatinny takes this as long it is not too short. Glock 17 and so on.

I personally have an Olight on my M&P 2.0 9mm. Some guys have reported their Olight exploding when hot and subjected to the shock imposed by the gun firing. Though I haven't ran into that issue myself w/ the Olight. I do plan one day to upgrade to the Streamlight because some holsters made for the M&P 2.0 9mm have provisions for Streamlight and not Olight.

I had another streamlight years ago and that light ran for years till it just gave up. Never got around to replacing the cells and suspect that was all it was. I had Surefire and other ones, but this is my first TAC light. Can't wait to check it out.

Just arrived today, haven't had a chance to listen to them yet. A pair of Caintuck Audio Betsy Alnico 8 open baffle speakers. This is an actual picture of one of them that Randy posted on his web site before packing and shipping the pair to me.

My new speaker cables came in! The fidelity is much more "warmer". And I can hear increased dynamics. I plan to order another pair for each tower to bi-wire as well! Lastly, I may order up some bridges to get these babies off the ground!

Lastly, I may order up some bridges to get these babies off the ground! Don't forget to align them parallel to the Earth magnetic field. Should they be (gasp!) perpendicular, the intersecting lines of force are surely going to alter the electrons' flow, causing slow bass, un-liquid highs and non-chocolaty mids...

Truly an upgrade well worth investing in! 🙄

My Walmart car battery lasted over 4 years. Was not expecting that. But it gave up so now got one of these now. Close and needed right now. Figures for the Labor Day weekend right?
