Nice! (though I’ll miss your Sony expertise) … But it looks like LG has the paper jam problem first seen with Windows 11, maybe you should try mass quantities of graphite in every hole you can find as soon as you get it! 😈 The Sony will still be in play for Timing And Scoring during live races, and maybe other stuff as well. I've still got a rolling panel mount from when I was using a BDI cabinet for my A/V stuff. It's the BDI Arena. I added wheels. ![](https://images.crutchfieldonline.com/ImageHandler/trim/620/378/products/2009/29/631/x6319972-o_front50.jpeg)

77" LG G3 gets delivered/installed on Wednesday! ![](https://pisces.bbystatic.com/image2/BestBuy_US/images/products/6535/6535934_sd.jpg;maxHeight=2000;maxWidth=2000) . . . . and also got this. ![](https://pisces.bbystatic.com/image2/BestBuy_US/images/products/6523/6523167_sd.jpg;maxHeight=2000;maxWidth=2000) Thank you Laurence for your tv knowledge assistance! WOW, didn’t know you were that close to buying!!! Excellent choice, I think that is the best OLED on the market today, period. I like the Sony OLED’s A80/A90 as well, but the MLA feature on the proven LG W-OLED panels would make my decision easy(if I were in the market today), over the Samsung S95/Sony A95 OLEDs that are made with Samsung QD-OLED panels. The Samsung QD-OLED panel technology is just way too new and unproven, and like we discussed already my disdain for Samsung and my bad experiences with their flat panels. I’m really excited for you!!! Congratulations, can’t wait to read/hear your impressions!!! ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

WOW, didn’t know you were that close to buying!!! Neither did I, but after seeing it in person my decision was easy! Excellent choice, I think that is the best OLED on the market today, period. The anti-glare worked very well in the bright store, so I have hopes of a visual improvement over my Sony with X-Wide technology which has bugged me since purchase, but had to put up with it for the size screen I wanted and for the processor in the 950G. All I need to do to get the same viewing angle as I'm used to from an 85" panel is to pull the 77" LG out from the front wall 1 foot. No worries about the mount which can handle twice the weight of the LG, and is attached to a 1 foot thick brick front wall with 1/4" threaded rod all the way through to the outside, so it'll handle an 80 pound panel - fully extended from the wall with no problem. (Yes, the nuts and washers on the outside are visible, but painted so they aren't obvious, and I've never lost any sleep about the integrity of the installation of the mount.)

Not the camera. The camera is two years old. But I dropped it three weeks ago and to get it fixed I had to pull off the vinyl wrap. So I got it back Friday ($588) and today I did one of my most favorite relaxing tasks ... I put a new vinyl wrap on the camera. Took me over two hours. Probably my finest work ... and I think this is the 7th body I've done, and at least 8 lenses. So here it is ... the Silver Mamba! ![](//storage.proboards.com/1381179/thumbnailer/JevTKgzwTvUabdZXYBKh.png) ![](//storage.proboards.com/1381179/thumbnailer/rCqLfNqjwjNQRopMEoHv.png)

So now I’m not sure what to do with the 85” panel.

I was wondering how that was going to workout ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) ... but just keep it to use for your rear display, I hear the next version of DolbyVision will be called "DolbyXRayVision" -- a front and rear display will internally irradiate the viewer, for a visually immersive experience (think ... visions of sugar plumbs dancing in your head) 🤯

I find that many people are terrified by the sight of the vinyl on the sheet, and are sure their nerves would be shot and the result would be $50 worth of colorful plastic in the trash. I take my time and really enjoy the process. To date the most challenging was the Sony battery grip I did last week. The pieces had a lot of thin sections that wrapped around so getting them registered without sticking to themselves was really hard. I like the look, but primarily it's protection and grip. I've gotten top dollar selling gear that has been protected with the wraps. And especially on lenses I like the extra grip that I get with the vilyl vs plastic or paint.

The price is right. I buy it! Sony a7ii. I had one before, and liked it and missed it, it is back along with my a7Rii.

Do a Build Thing. It may suck, never did one, but lets give it a go anyway! What could go wrong. Plenty of bailing wire and duct tape. As usual, Safety 3rd, and Good as Used. ![](//storage.proboards.com/1381179/thumbnailer/f0yyvFeWRS0cFQkxusWm.png)

How do you like it? Compare it to other streamers? It won't be here till tomorrow. I'm replacing an older Z10 which I've had for a few years now and I do like it. But streaming is not their forte. It's mainly for local media playback from what might be stored on a hard drive. Like movies, CD,s, SACD's, Blu Ray's, ISO's with full menus etc. It's similar to hooking up a hard drive to an Oppo BD player. For streaming I like the Shield and ATV.
