Just bought my 3rd pair of Mirage OMD-5s in rosewood, I don't need them but they are on sale for $120 apiece at Vanns.com for the rest of the day, could not resist, I am sure I will eventually find a need for these little gems.

Nice pickup Pete! I'm a big Omega PO fan also. But I think my next watch will need to be a Speedmaster. But I'll have to sell a couple watches to get the Speedy I want.

Very nice Pete! I too love Omega watches. The only watch I own and wear every day is the Michael Schumacher Speedmaster.

It's hard to beat the quality per dollar that Omega offers. Most people think I'm crazy to say that Omega timepieces are a good deal, but when you compare them to others, they really are. Wonderful watches! Especially the used market. You can find used Seamasters for about 8-900 bucks.
Do any of you guys belong to any watch forums?

I am not a watch connoisseur but I do like the understated but classy looks of the Panerai Luminor 1950. I only wish I could afford it!

Yes sir! The Panerai is one of my "grail" watches. Big bucks right there.
Very good taste in watches you got there Hemster.

I love watches but I keep away from watch forums to avoid the temptation to buy. I've been eyeing models by Baume & Mercier and Montblanc. My audio hobby is expensive enough. I can't afford to indulge in another expensive hobby.

If it can't tell me how much deco time I have then it's not the watch for me but I do like the look of the Panerai Luminor 1950 shown above. Not sure about that trigger on it though.

I've been eyeing those Panerai's quite a bit. My TAG will have to remain brotherless for quite some time.

One of these days(many years from now)I will have a Zenith El Primero 36'000 VPH. One of the top five best watches of all time IMO. Based on looks.

No, that would be the El Primero Tourbillon. Which is my favorite, but it will never happen lol.

I didn't realize there we so many Omega fans here. Definitely agree that they are great watches at a very fair price. To me they are the epitome of understated elegance. Prefer them over the flashier brands so I've collected a few Omegas. I have a Speedmaster Professional and a Seamaster James Bond that I may be willing to sell if anyone is interested. Nice pickup Pete! I'm a big Omega PO fan also. But I think my next watch will need to be a Speedmaster. But I'll have to sell a couple watches to get the Speedy I want.

It looks like that Schumacher Omega was from his Benetton days. Nice.

After bending a two foot breaker bar....I headed to Sears to get a 3/4" drive mambo ratchet. After a few attempts, I finally broke the single lugnut free. Now my back is jacked-up.
