I just want DLBC. That’s the only update that I’d like and it would really help these G3P’s marketability.

It's been a while since posting here -- has there been any word on the eARC upgrade card? I'm about the spring for a 2022 model 85" 8K TV and would really like to take advantage of eARC without having to jump to Marantz or something.

Maybe a couple more pointless podcasts before we hear any substantial details?

Well, perhaps we are in for a surprise come Monday. This was just posted on April 15....Dirac Live 3 and a Redux at that, clocking in at 33 minutes. Are those rays of sunshine peaking over the horizon? www.youtube.com/watch?v=QVrjMFFjQq0&t=26s

I think Emotiva is realizing that they need to help the users a little more but I don’t think this has anything to do with new firmware releases.

Been using my XMC-2 for almost 2 yrs without any major issues. Last week the XMC-2 started having issues coming out of standby. The XMC-2 and TV will power on when a device (shield tv) is powered on, but does not output any audio or video. Also, the XMC-2 is unresponsive, no remote control or app control. The only way I found to correct this is a power cycle of the XMC-2.
Beside the standby issue, everything else seems to work ok. Anyone seen an issue like this?? thx.

New here. I have the RMC-1 and it does exactly as you described from day 1. I now have to power up from low power mode every time. A minor inconvenience but until a new firmware update I can live with it.
It's still not right.

It was nice to see the latest youtube videos on the RMC/XMC2 platforms from Emotiva. I definitely watched them all and went back to basics worked my way back up through Dirac and their was some improvement. I don't post much but will say that mine has run pretty flawlessly after the first firmware's with the occasional reboot for piece of mind.
Lets see what these boxes can do with the promised firmware's and optional hardware to put them firmly back on the playing field for price vs features.

Hm, looks good. I wonder how well the CEC works. I don't mind the no OSD the processor is sitting right under my TV with that giant display anyways.

I have the HDfury Vrroom 2.1 unit and it is flawless. My XMC-2 is perfect now. I am telling you every issue these processors have is based around the HDMI board. I have zero freeze up issues, zero audio issues. Zero issues all together now. The loss of the OSD is not a big deal for me cause I can see my XMC-2 display. And the Vrroom will on screen display its formats each time. But I am telling you 100% better. Fully future proof too. No matter what you decide to do in the future this unit is a must in my book.

When using the IR wired input on the back of the processor, you must disable the Front IR In. If it's not disabled, there will be doubled commands or disregarded commands. I also disable the Front IR Blaster as it's not needed and I don't want any conflicts.

Wow, after reading specifications of the Anthem AVM90 our RMC-1 is getting long in the tooth.

Wow, after reading specifications of the Anthem AVM90 our RMC-1 is getting long in the tooth. I have placed my order for an AVM 90 to save my place in line. There is a long time waiting for the orders to be fulfilled. Emotiva still has time to make things right with the RMC before my order goes through with the Anthem. Will see which one comes in first.

This needs to be bumped! Cheaper than the Anthem and McIntosh I am looking at... so this solves the clicking and popping too?

I've noticed in your sig you list the HTP-1. Is there some reason you are not using it? That would probably be my next choice in line or maybe the JBL SDP-55 if I could find a good deal on it.

I would probably purchase one on the spot if it weren't for the loss of the OSD. The on screen volume was a big selling point for me on the XMC-2. I've heard some users saying they were trying to write a script to create an OSD with the HDFury but nothing has come of it yet.
