I can't get to the point where it calculates the filters, the last button to go to filter creation is not available. I can only think that there has been data corruption and that I need to start over again. aaaahhh, too bad. I was going in and out of Dirac all night testing some things. I looked for anything that might grey-out that button, but couldn't come up with anything. sorry. I think you're right about the corruption. weird. Just for a sanity check, try just one mic point and see what happens. ttocs and multicore ..... I had a problem one time that kind of looked like this. A couple versions back in Dirac, I saved a project and then reopened it. I could not get to the filter design screen. It turned out that for some never-explained reason the project save was corrupted and the file was empty and a very small size (a few KB). So you can check the file in the project folder ... on a PC it's C: \Users\[user]\Dirac\Projects The file size will vary depending on how many measurements you took. Like maybe 50k for one measurement and 200k-600k for many measurements. If the file is much smaller it's corrupted and you have to do the measurements again.

Wow, I thought Friday evening might have been a fluke, but watched a Blu-Ray last night and my wife commented on how much better the system sounded. I settled into the +4 curve, the +6 was a bit too much Boom for my taste, the +4 seemed to be better balanced. Just an FYI - Opening the saved "project" took a while for it to convert it for the new version of Dirac. I have a fast laptop and it took a good 3-5 minutes. I thought that the software might have been hung, it took that long :-)
Sounds Great Now!

I downloaded and installed the newest Dirac but can't get it to work. Hooked up everything to my network with the same cables and ethernet switch I used before when I successfully ran Dirac. Plugged in the LBB and waited a few minutes- the led light by the power connection flashed for a while with both red and green lights, but stays red. Should it be green? Opened Dirac on my laptop and it searched for processor, but could not find it. Tried this multiple times and keep getting 'no device found'. So I did a hard reset to the RMC-1 and started all over including restating the LBB, but still 'no device found'. On the Dirac page I clicked on 'IP address' and it's blank- should there be something there? If so where do I find my IP address??
I'm a little frustrated right now. Please help.

The file is 342K, but I still think it is corrupt as you stated. No idea what might have caused it. I did start from a saved project and ended up re-measuring. I also loaded a new Target curve, modified it, saved it, and then reloaded for all groups. Not sure when things went bad.

When I had the problem after I reloaded the bad project (before I realized the file was corrupted) I tried remeasuring and it didn't work. I had to start completely over. I sent my files to Dirac and they couldn't explain it. I've had no issue since with versions 3.0.5, 3.0.9 and 3.0.11.

When I connect any of my other components to the ethernet there are usually yellow/green lights flashing- there are no lights at the RMC-1 connection. I've tried 3 different cables. In the RMC-1 setup>info>network it shows 0.0.0.0 Pretty sure if there is a connection it would show something. Seems to be something wrong with the network connection within the RMC-1. I have hard reset it a few times without any joy. Any ideas??

Is DHCP enabled on the RMC-1? Yes. I disabled and re-enabled, but still no luck. Unplug the EDNIB (Dirac Interface), Reboot the processor from power off for ONE MINUTE so it can "forget" the EDNIB getting in the way. Verify the processor has gotten a IP address, plug in the EDNIB. All should be ok.

If I turn DHCP off I get an IP address, gateway and subnet addresses. This seems backwards, unless I'm not understanding. Should DHCP be enabled or disabled??

How do you import a harmon curve ? Measure, then in menu import target curve. You can download them, google is your friend.

Neither my ethernet switch or modem show that the RMC-1 is connected, like either the actual connection is not working allowing a physical connection, or something in firmware is screwy. This is true with DHCP enabled or disabled. Just doesn't seem to connect to the processor at the network connection. I get an IP address with DHCP disabled, but not when its enabled. This seems backwards. Again, should DHCP be enabled or not?? Should it show an IP address with it enabled?? Shouldn't my ethernet switch or modem be showing a connection??

I backed up my settings, reset the RMC and powered it down with the back on/off switch, wait 5 minutes and was able to an ip address with DHCP enabled. Im able to enable Dirac on the RMC but I still cant get Dirac to find my RMC . Is the power light on the Raspberry Pi supposed to be red or green? mine flashes green when i plug it in then stays red. This is very frustrating, it connected fine a few weeks ago and the only thing i did was update Dirac. I'm going to restore my settings on the RMC now and make sure i get an IP address and then make sure i can enable dirac on the RMC.

The IP address should show up in Information when the processor has one. In the past, whenever the processor could not establish an IP address, I unplugged the EDNIB and did a power switch off reboot, but I had to wait not less than 40 seconds before powering back on. Almost immediately during the booting process I could see the Link Light on the router light up showing the processor had a connection. This always works for me. Always.

Is the power light on the Raspberry Pi supposed to be red or green? mine flashes green when i plug it in then stays red. There is a Red light at one end that stays steady after bootup, see the red glow at other end in the photo. There's the Amber and Green lights on the network interface.

I tried with no luck, along with multiple hard resets, cable switches, and cursing. My modem or ethernet switch should show a connection to the RMC-1, but it doesn't. Somethings wrong either with the actual hardware connection at the ethernet plug or the software. I'll call Emo tomorrow.
